Rococo Beauty and the Beast? Belle Époque Ariel and Ursula? This presentation will detail how to put a historical twist on a particular character/costume, including deciding how to balance historical accuracy, being true to the character, and being comfortable. We will use a number of our own historical mashup costumes to demonstrate techniques and decisions we made when creating them.
